Proxmox Collector – Codenotary

This page describes how to setup Proxmox collector agent for Opvizor/Cloud.

Steps

1. Register on Opvizor/Cloud and retrieve your API key

2. Install the agent on each of the Proxmox nodes

curl -sSL https://opvizorcloud.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/proxmox/installer.sh | OPVIZOR_APIKEY=<replace-with-opvizor-apikey> bash

Note that the following variables need to be replaced in the above command line

OPVIZOR_APIKEY - retrieve your Opvizor key from your profile in https://cloud.opvizor.com/#/apikeys

Use SSH access and elevated user for agent installation

Verify the installation by executing

telegraf --test

systemctl status opvizor-proxmox

You should see a list of metrics as an output in service status after a minute or two

3. Enable the Proxmox Integration

Expect data to be available in the dashboards within 5 minutes after agent is successfully installed
